PHILOSOPHY AND VALUES

We are a Centenary Restaurant located in the Plaza Independencia of the city of Girona, a few meters from the old town, Old Town, to touch the Cathedral of Girona, the Oñar River and its colorful houses. This location has allowed us to know and establish contact throughout history with the different situations and people who have approached our establishment, adapting to the moment and needs of our customers over time.

…desde siempre hemos optado por una cocina de mercado, cercana, tradicional y típica catalana. Disponemos de una amplia carta donde priorizamos los productos procedentes de nuestra tierra y elaborados con la experiencia que nos han ofrecido los más de 130 años de historia, incorporando los avances del presente.

La mayoría de nuestra bodega se compone de referencias al vino del Ampurdán, pero disponemos de otras muchas referencias con varias denominación de origen (D.O. Empordà, D.O. Penedès, D.O. Costers del Segre, D.O. Catalunya, D.O. Rioja, D.O. Ribera del Duero, D.O. Somontano, D.O. Rueda, D.O. Rías Baixas…). El Cava Brut Casa Marieta también es muy apreciado y se elabora artesanalmente en una pequeña bodega de Artés (comarca del Bages).

… Our facilities are framed in an environment that evokes the old farmhouses and our history, with a large main dining room with capacity for 150 diners. In the Sala Carbonera, you can also breathe Our respect for the past and tradition, in the leaded stained glass windows that narrate the process of winemaking, from the land to the table.

For a more private and exclusive atmosphere, we have individual tables or the Sala Carbonera with a single table with capacity for up to 25 diners, prepared for meetings, with availability of projector, p.c., and with the possibility of adaptation according to customer requests.

Throughout the year, when the weather permits, we also provide our service on the terrace, with about 30 additional places.

We offer accessibility for people with reduced mobility and personalized attention with digitized information through devices such as our digital charts, also available from our website www.casamarieta.com

Usually, we attend in 5 languages (Catalan, Spanish, English, French and Russian). And within our menu, we offer Individual promotions in working services or menu for groups.. The Average price per diner is usually consolidated between 20-25 euros approximately.

… For groups, our Commercial Department offers a Personalized attention, either for agencies, tour operators or clients in general, making customized budgets to meet demands, adjusting to the gastronomic and economic preferences of our customers, taking care of organizational details and incorporating new technologies that arise in the sector, anticipating the future.

We have our services available almost 365 days a year, with extensive opening hours from Monday to Sunday, adapting them if necessary to the needs of the client.

We have high positions in Tripadvisor and Google Business, among other networks or digital environments, which highlights our passion for this trade, which we make it our own way of life. We are part of recognized and select environments such as centennial state restaurants and we are affiliated with the Tourist Board Costa Brava and Pyrenees as well as the Catalan Tourism Agency ACT, as well as regulatory and dynamic elements of this trade, which help to ensure that over time a better tourism is more grateful and sustainable.

Our organizational chart and company procedures, allow us to work with integrated quality systems, safety and hygiene at work and environment very close to the ISO Standard, which improve the guarantees of customer satisfaction and the Social Responsibility Circle. Our ERP system helps us to have our control panels and departments of the organization properly informed.
